Currently Room 10 is reading Boyznbikes by Vince Ford as a shared book. This book is all about a boy called Callum who can't help getting into trouble. He gets suspended from school and his dad has allowed him to travel with him, Baz, and Skid on their annual Big Bike Ride. Many things unfold and Callum learns a lot about his dad and the SECRET!!!!
What I would like is for room 10 students (everyone else who is reading this book too is more than welcome also) to answer questions posted on this site about the book and use inference to try and guess what happens next.
QUESTION set ONE: Who do you think Maddy is?, What makes you say that?
We think that Maddy might be an x-wife of Callum’s Dad, Because Callum’s Mum and Dad have been hiding something from him as he heard them talking about something unusual that they wouldn’t tell Callum about it.

We think that Maddy is a girl who is Callum’s Dad’s ex wife. Callum has never heard of her and does not have a clue who she is.

ReplyDeleteThe surroundings of the crash were that Greg was going to fast and he wasnt concentrating on the road. He didn't see the car coming from the other direction.Only just missing the oncoming car Greg hit the bridge. Greg flew over the handle bars of his bike and fell down into the river. It looked like he was knocked out but by the time help got to him it was too late, he was dead.

Hello to all of Room 10 MIS. I have just been shown around your very exciting blog page. This is the first time I have ever looked at a blog page and I am most impressed. I loved being able to read the classes Mission Statement and see live photographs of my child and the children in their class. I will endeavour to visit this blog page more often and those of other classes at MIS. Well done Room 10!
